AGGIUDICATO IL PREMIO MASSIMO DRADI, PROMOSSO DALL’ASSOCIAZIONE CULTURALE STUDI GRAFICI
Il Premio rivolto agli studenti delle scuole di grafica dedicato a Massimo Dradi, creato dall’Associazione Culturale Studi Grafici, è giunto alla 22a edizione
Il giorno della premiazione – svoltasi sabato 3 dicembre alle ore 11, presso la sede dell’Associazione in via B. Crespi 30 a Milano – ha celebrato tutte le scuole partecipanti e, in particolare, la vincitrice: Jenna Basilio dell’Istituto Rizzoli di Milano.
L’oggetto da progettare è, come sempre, un calendario cartaceo e il tema proposto per questa edizione è intitolato “Proverbi disegnati”.
Sono pervenuti alla giuria oltre 150 calendari da scuole grafiche o di comunicazione italiane, sono stati selezionati e premiati 10 finalisti.
Il concorso, riservato alle scuole di grafica e comunicazione distribuite su tutto il territorio nazionale, dal 2019 ha preso il nome di Premio Massimo Dradi, in memoria dell’ex-presidente dell’ACST e co-fondatore dell’Associazione Campo Grafico scomparso nel 2018.
L’Associazione Culturale Studi Grafici [www.acsg.it] è stata costituita nel lontano giugno del 1945 dal padre di Massimo Dradi, Carlo, e da Attilio Rossi, in continuità del lavoro di divulgazione professionale svolto con la rivista Campo Grafico prima della Seconda Guerra.
La finalità dell’Associazione Culturale Studi Grafici è la divulgazione, la promozione, la crescita culturale e tecnica legata al mondo della grafica, attraverso talk, workshop e corsi. Dall’Associazione nasce “Il bollettino del Centro Studi” come pubblicazione periodica, a partire dal secondo anno di fondazione, proseguito con la rivista “Linea Grafica”. La nutrita biblioteca dell’ACSG, intitolata ad Attilio Rossi, contiene oltre 4.200 fra volumi, riviste, monografie, enciclopedie, ed è aperta su appuntamento. Il Comune di Milano nel 1963 conferisce al Centro di Studi Grafici la Medaglia d’oro per la cultura e nel 2010 viene conferito ad ACSG il Pollicione d’Oro.
AWARDED THE MASSIMO DRADI PRIZE, SPONSORED BY THE CULTURAL ASSOCIATION GRAPHIC STUDIES
The Prize aimed at graphic design school students dedicated to Massimo Dradi, created by the Graphic Studies Cultural Association, is now in its 22nd edition
The day of the award ceremony - held on Saturday, December 3, at 11 a.m., at the Association's headquarters on Via B. Crespi 30 in Milan - celebrated all the participating schools and, in particular, the winner: Jenna Basilio of the Rizzoli Institute in Milan.
The object to be designed is, as always, a paper calendar and the theme proposed for this edition is entitled "Proverbs drawn."
More than 150 calendars were received by the jury from Italian graphic or communication schools, and 10 finalists were selected and awarded prizes.
The competition, reserved for graphic design and communication schools distributed throughout the country, from 2019 has taken the name Massimo Dradi Award, in memory of the former president of ACST and co-founder of the Graphic Field Association who passed away in 2018.
The Graphic Studies Cultural Association [www.acsg.it] was established back in June 1945 by Massimo Dradi's father, Carlo, and Attilio Rossi, as a continuation of the professional outreach work done with the journal Campo Grafico before World War II.
The purpose of the Graphic Studies Cultural Association is the popularization, promotion, cultural and technical growth related to the world of graphic design, through talks, workshops and courses. From the Association was born "The Bulletin of the Study Center" as a periodical publication, starting from the second year of its foundation, continued with the journal "Linea Grafica".
ACSG's extensive library, named after Attilio Rossi, contains more than 4,200 volumes, journals, monographs, encyclopedias, and is open by appointment. In 1963, the City of Milan awarded the Center for Graphic Studies the Gold Medal for Culture, and in 2010 ACSG was awarded the “Pollicione d’Oro”.
